Steps to Apply for a Passage Loan

1. Share Your LOA for Verification

To begin the application process, the first step is to submit your valid LOA to Passage’s support team for verification.

  • Send your LOA to [email protected].

  • The support team will review your LOA to confirm its authenticity and ensure it meets the eligibility criteria for a Passage loan.

2. Receive the Upload Link

Once your LOA is verified:

  • The support team will provide you with a secure link to upload all the required documents for your loan application.

  • Prepare your documents in advance to ensure a smooth submission process.

3. Submit a Consent Letter

As part of the application process, you’ll need to send a consent letter to the admissions team. The consent letter allows George Brown College to release important information to Passage regarding your application.

  • The letter should follow this format:

    Subject: Consent for Loan Application

    Body:

“I authorize George Brown College to release information to Passage Inc. regarding my application, ongoing registration, and school-related fees, including name, date of birth, email address, phone number, primary address, mailing address, photograph, passport information, information and documents required for visa and study permit application, information and documents required for school admission, enrolment and graduation status, grades, course load and confirmation of full-time status, academic standing including good standing, probation, leave of absence, withdrawal, and deferrals, on-campus part-time job, work integrated learning status, application status, and admission decision.”

  • Attach this consent letter to your email and tag the admissions member responsible for your case.

4. Upload All Requirements

Use the provided link to upload all required documents. Common requirements may include:

  • A copy of your verified LOA.

  • Proof of identity and residency.

  • Other documents requested by the team or instructed by the system.

5. Document Review and Next Steps

Once all your documents are submitted:

  • The Passage team will thoroughly review your application within a couple of business days.

  • If everything is in order, you’ll be guided through the remaining steps to complete your loan request.

Final Tip

Ensure that all your documents are accurate and complete to avoid delays in processing. For any questions or clarifications during the process, reach out to Passage’s support at [email protected] for assistance.
