How do I upload my video for the loan process?

Step-by-step guide on how to upload your video to YouTube and add the link to your Passage loan application.

Step 1: Plan what you want to say

  • Write a Script or Outline: Please read over the questions provided and plan what you want to say. A little preparation helps a lot!

  • Gather Equipment: You'll need a camera (a smartphone camera works), a microphone, and good lighting.

Step 2: Record your video

  • Set Up Your Recording Space: Choose a quiet, well-lit area.

  • Record Your Video: Using your camera, record your video. Remember to speak clearly and stay on topic.

Step 4: Create a YouTube account

  • If you don’t have a YouTube account, go to YouTube and sign up.

Step 5: Upload your video

  • Go to YouTube Studio: Click on your profile icon at the top right corner and select 'YouTube Studio'.

  • Upload Video: Click the “Create” button (camera icon) and select “Upload Video.”

  • Select Your File: Choose the video file you want to upload.

Step 6: Add video details

  • Title: Please give your video the Title: “[Your Name] - Passage Loan Application”

Step 7: Choose privacy settings

  • Select Privacy: Please choose from ‘Public’ (anyone can search for and view) or ‘Unlisted’ (only those with the link can view).

Step 8: Publish or schedule your video

  • Publish Now: Click ‘Publish’ to make your video live immediately.

Step 9: Share your video

  • Copy the URL: Once published, you can copy the link to your video.

  • Share: Please add the link to your Passage loan application.
