Passage is committed to providing transparent, efficient, and reliable guidance for students pursuing education and financing in Canada. Our core service pillars include:
School Application Processing: We will process an application for one (1) program or school of choice. (Note: Processing an application does not guarantee school approval or admission).
Loan Processing: If applicable, we will process your loan application. (Note: Processing does not guarantee loan approval).
Study Permit General Guidance: We will help you compile a basic study permit application from an administrative standpoint. If you require professional immigration or legal assistance, we will refer you to qualified professionals.
Expert Consultation: You have access to receive consultation and guidance from our premium student counselors.
Upfront Transparency: Prior to paying the application fee, applicants are presented with a high-level overview of the process steps and service scope, alongside a preliminary assessment, and this overarching policy.
Important Note:
Passage provides administrative support, platform guidance, and general information for school and loan applications. Passage is not a law firm, and our staff are not lawyers, legal professionals, or Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs).
We do not provide legal or official immigration advice, nor do we act as your Authorized Representative with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Any assistance provided regarding study permits is strictly administrative. If you require specialized immigration advice, legal representation, or a complex case review, we strongly advise consulting a licensed Canadian immigration lawyer or a registered RCIC.
2. Application Workflow & Shared Responsibilities
Navigating school placement, securing funding, obtaining immigration and study permits, and successfully arriving at your destination institution requires active collaboration between Passage and the applicant.
Platform-Driven Workflow: Application steps and required actions are not fixed offline. All necessary milestones, tasks, and document requests are dynamically outlined directly within the Passage platform at app.passage.com .
Passage Timeliness Commitment: Passage is committed to reviewing, processing, and advancing applications in a timely manner at each operational stage once the required inputs are provided by the applicant.
Applicant Responsibility: Applicants are strictly responsible for regularly checking app.passage.com and completing any pending tasks in a timely manner.
3. Accountability, Breaches of Service & Refunds
Passage holds itself accountable to our service pillars and timeliness commitments, while applicants are accountable for their platform tasks.
Applicant Due Diligence: Applicants are responsible for conducting reasonable research to fully understand the application process and requirements. While Passage is here to guide and support you along the way, applicants remain accountable for staying informed about their options and responsibilities.
Applicant-Caused Delays (Non-Refundable): Any adverse application outcomes, processing failures, or delays resulting from an applicant's failure to complete app-directed actions on time will render the application fee non-refundable.
Passage-Caused Delays (Refund Eligible): Passage considers it a breach of service if we fail to process a school or loan application, fail to help compile/refer a study permit application, or fail to provide counselor guidance in a reasonable timeframe. If an application fails as a direct result of Passage's breach of service, the applicant is eligible to request a refund.
4. Special Circumstances & Transfers
Program Transfers: Applicants are permitted a single, one-time transfer of their application fee to an alternative program, provided the change is requested prior to the submission of the original application to the institution. Following submission, the application fee becomes strictly non-transferable.
5. Promotional Waivers and Discount Codes
From time to time, Passage may offer application fee waivers, discount codes, or promotional pricing through specific partnerships, marketing channels, or special events. To ensure fairness and transparency, the following terms apply to all promotions:
Eligibility & Application: Promotional codes must be entered and successfully applied at the time of checkout. Discounts and waivers cannot be applied retroactively to previously completed or paid applications under any circumstances.
Channel-Specific Offers: Certain waivers or discounts may be restricted to applicants applying through designated educational partners, specific geographic regions, or targeted campaigns. Applicants must meet all specified criteria for the promotion to be valid.
Terms of Use: Discount codes and fee waivers are strictly non-transferable, hold no cash value, and cannot be combined with other offers, promotions, or prior credits unless explicitly stated.
Expiration Dates: Promotional offers, discount codes, and fee waivers are valid for a limited time and will expire on a specified date. Once a code has expired, it is no longer valid and cannot be redeemed, extended, or replaced.
Right to Modify or Cancel: Passage reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or withdraw any promotional offer, discount code, or fee waiver at our sole discretion, at any time, and without prior notice.
