Changing a program selection depends on the stage of the application process. Here's a step-by-step guide for each scenario:
1. Before Paying the Application Fee
If you haven’t paid the application fee yet, changing your program is simple:
Create a new application for your desired program.
No payment has been made for the old application, so there are no additional complications.
You can either manually withdraw it or let the system automatically withdraw it upon submission of the new application.
2. After Paying the Application Fee
If the applicant has already paid the application fee but wants to change their program:
Applicants need to create a new application for the desired program.
The application fee for the new program may be waived if the initial application hasn't been submitted to the school and it meets the criteria outlined in our fee waiver guidelines. To request a fee waiver, please contact support at [email protected].
3. After Reaching the Collateral Stage
If the applicant has reached the collateral payment stage:
The entire process will need to start from the beginning of the new program.
Applicants must create a new application for their desired program.
The credit team will need to reevaluate the applicant's situation based on the new program.
Potential risks involved:
Admission to the new program is not guaranteed.
The reevaluation by the credit team may lead to a different decision regarding credit approval.
