Why does my GBC "StuView" portal still show a balance after I paid through Passage?

Important Update: George Brown College (GBC) Strike and Your Payment Status

We understand that the ongoing strike at George Brown College (GBC) may feel stressful and confusing. If you’ve already paid through Passage but your StuView portal still shows an outstanding balance, here’s what you need to know:

1. Check Your Passage Account

Your Passage account is always the most up-to-date source of truth. If your acceptance and payment are showing in your Passage account (app.passage.com), you are in good standing. Passage has already confirmed your payment with GBC on your behalf.

2. Processing Time at GBC

Once Passage confirms your seat (including your PAL, Tuition Confirmation Letter) it can take some time for GBC’s system to update. Because of the strike, processing may be slower than usual. This is an administrative delay only and does not affect your acceptance.

3. No Extra Payment Required

You do not need to make a second payment directly to GBC. Your StuView portal will automatically update once their system finishes processing the funds.
